I purchse a drug which suppose to expire November 2012, i've already taken two dose is it safe?

Hello Olufunmilayo, & welcome to the site. It would help if you would list the name of the prescription, & what you are taking it for. Usually the expiration date is 12 months for most drugs from the date of the prescription, but that doesn't always mean they are not any good. Now if it was a couple of years yes, but just less than a few days, it should work just fine. Of course that said, it does depend on what it is, & what you are taking it for. Best wishes...

A pharmacist told me one time that the pills are good for at least another month after the expiration date, they give it early for extra safety. If its a prescription and the date is on the label its the date the prescription expires, not the pills, as Mary said.
