... on for this condition is adcirca (tadalafil). Is anyone else taking this or know anything about it. Should I be on anything else? Thanks
I recently joined these forums and I saw your question. I also have PAH. I have tried 5 different meds and could not tolerate any of them. Each person is different with different side effects and some have no problems at all. All you can do is try the med and follow up with your doctor he is the best one to guide you.
Hi, my wife was diagnosed 4 years ago when she was 34. It all depends on how far your disease has progressed. She has been on MANY meds to try and slow down her progression, adcirca was one of them. Currently she is on Tyvaso and Cialis (vascular dialators) along with Xarelto, potassium chloride, Lasix, Zofran, and Latairis. The first two, T&C (v d), are the main ones. She was on 6 Lpm of O2 when diagnosed but now is on 3 Lpm.
Everyone is different! You HAVE to get to a hospital that specializes in PAH! We went to many hospitals finally getting the right answers @ Mayo in MN. Keep your chin up!
