Hello Rpropp, & welcome to the site. I think this question would be better answered by your physician. I would have to say if one is handling your symptoms, why take both, but I am not a doctor, nor do I know much about your condition or time of use etc... If your doctor feels you need both of these medications, than I would have to say follow his direction unless the side effects are bothering you too much or you have other reasons for not wanting to follow his direction.
