I am a 22 year old male. Approximately 3 days ago I was drying my hair after getting out of the shower. I was in quite a rush, therefore drying my hair as fast as possible. I felt something pull in my neck somewhere, and it was quite painful. I was left with a headache and uncomfortable neck pain (not unbearable or anything) for the rest of the day. Last night I went to play basketball, like I do every Monday night, and something very odd happened. Within the second half of the game, I jumped to block the ball and felt something pull in the back right of my neck. Immediately I felt my entire right side of my body seize up and I was unable to move. I dropped to the ground and was unable to move my right arm, right left, along with having my right eye closed tightly, and my mouth pulled over and scrunched to the right. This only lasted for approximately 45 seconds, and after that I was able to get back up and play for the rest of the game. It was a very weird experience since it felt as if I was temporarily paralyzed. If it helps, I work at a desk all day long doing IT work. I also work from home many days a week on the couch in awkward sitting positions. I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis which is a form of arthritis.
Fizzix: After reading your note five times and checking around on the internet, I am kind of stuck.

I am not a doctor, but sounds like you may have had a small stroke. Bells Palsy was a thought, but your paralysis was short lived.
I do hope you will have yourself checked out.
