Im on week 5 of paroxetine after relapsing thinking I was good and stoped taking it. It worked great. I didn't get side effects first time taking it. This time I got all the side effect when I started I wake up every morning really anxious. I'm curious if it will work again. My anxiety is far from gone. I have not had a day of relief. It never stopped working on me before I just weaned off quickly. When I relapsed and had my first pannik attack I took 50mg like an idiot so did that make me get all side effects this time? Other than that I've been on my regular dose of 30 mgs since jan 21 and still have no relief. It wouldn't be so frustrating if I didn't have a house and family on the line. Any advice is appreciated
It seems that 5 weeks would be long enough to show some improvement. But maybe give it the full 6-8 weeks, if you can handle it. There are meds that can help the anxiety. I take Buspar, but it takes a bit to build up in your system. It takes the edge off my anxiety. Have you called your doctor and ask what he or she could suggest to help with the anxiety? Did your last refill come from another manufacturer? Sometimes that can make a difference. Or maybe you need to change your dose? Panic attacks are hard to deal with without the right med (s). Getting this resolved is a priority for your home and family. Let us know how you are doing.
