We tend to feel really guilty, ashamed and inferior for having an addiction. Addiction is a hereditary condition and when we get clean, we still feel bad. That is where counseling and support groups come in. When you are around others who are like you and have beaten addiction, you support each other. Seek out a counselor and a support group. Give yourself alot of credit for getting clean and staying clean and don't focus on the fact that you had an addiction, rather focus on the fact that you did something about it.Congratulations.
