... co-codamol he is in severe pain and cannot even sleep at night is there a safe stronger painkiller that anyone can sugest he can ask doctor for?
Methadone is a long acting BUT narcotic pain reliever. Ill be honest, I dont know anything about the drugs he is on and in fact never heard of them. I myself am on Methadone for pain and have been for the past 6 years. It has worked wonders for me for pain. Im not sure how old your son is or whether this would be an option at all but as far as pain this has been the wonder drug for me. Is he seeing a pain specialist that is also able to treat that type of pain? Certainly contact his Dr. to let them know he is in extreme pain and cannot function and that his meds are not working at all for him. I hope you can get this resolved asap and i wish you both well.
