I'm taking the meds want to know how long to stay on it
First the good news:
Some people with psoriatic arthritis go into remission. Your doctor can scale back your dose and if you do well on a lower dose, you might want to ask him to try no-dose. Also, there are some good new drugs for PAr coming on the market.
Then the bad news:
Most people with psoriatic arthritis do not go into remission. You may need at least some form of immune-modulating drug for the rest of your life unless and until a cure is found.
