Im 52 years old and just started menopause.im gaining weight which causes more depression. I'm either crying or mad at all times, which isn't me at all. I don't want to get out of my house except to go to work.i need help
Tina webb If your talking about mood swings ect than i would say yes i have seen this used often for that part..just check with the doctor before making up your mind there are quite a few options good luck and happy new year chuck1957
You need to see a dr who can test what's going on with your hormones. Menopause alone shouldn't be causing all that. Prozac has the potential of helping you, if some of your problem is depression (I'm not talking about the depression over weight gain, but clinical depression)
I went to a women's group of doctors and was put on a very small does of HRT. Within a week the hot flashes and emotional problems were gone. I tried prozac before that and all it did was make me very dizzy. God bless!
