I have recently been prescribed Provera because of a lack of periods. My partner and I have decided to further our relationship and considering a child, because I have been prescribed the Provera I now have a monthly period so that I ovulate. The question that I have is has anyone ever been prescribed Provera and conceived while taking it? Anyone!
mbc5594; This is what they have given you the Provera for is so your hormones would get back on track and now as you said that you are having regular periods and your hormones are on a regular schedule this would be the time to try and have that new one. But you should check with your doctor just to make sure if you are still using the provera on a monthly basis normally you go onto a regular b/c once your system is back to normal and should not need the Provera to start of stop the period and you don't want to take it if you are or get pregnant. good luck this is worth checking with the doctor or nurse.
