I just got back into the birth control and I started right away because I have irregular periods. I am also sexually active. Please help me because I am on my second placebo pill and I still have not started my period.
How protected will I be if I start Trinessa on a Sunday without my period?

All birth control pills should be started on the first sunday of your period because of the hormone levels, and if a lady is on her cycle, pretty good chance she is NOT already pregnant. When you start the pill NOT on your cycle, it does cause either delays in cycle or causes it to start early. If you are on the inactives, and still haven't started, try running a home pregnancy test. I don't know the percentage change you could be pregnant, but since you are already to the inactives of the pill pack, IF you were pregnant, it should show up. Patti
