I had protected sex but hadn't started my own birth control yet, the next day I took my regular birth control and 24 after I took the morning after pill. Now it has been another 24 hours and I'm finally feeling nauseous and dizzy clammy and no appetite. Does this mean it is working? Or could it mean it failed and I am becoming pregnant
It could mean anything. There's no way of knowing if it's worked until you pass the time when your period was due & can do a pregnancy test.
Plan B can't help if you're already ovulating. You'd need one of the other methods of emergency contraception. Either an IUD fitted by a doctor or the other emergency pill; Ulipristal Acetate. Both of those things can be effective if done within 120 hrs/5 days of the unprotected sex.
If your intercourse was protected then you shouldn't need to worry.
Your hormonal symptoms can be a symptom of Plan B & can last for a few weeks sometimes.
