rachellara; Yes I have been on the Inderal la 80mg and also before that the 20mg tablets and have been taking them for over 20 years without any side effects at all. maybe when I first started a little bit tired until I got used to it. Really could not see going without it I started taking it for migraine prevention and it also helped with my anxiety. This medication has been out long enough and then some to prove itself I would not worry one bit myself It is used for many different things from blood pressure to people afraid to talk in a crowd. like a speech and many musicians use it for stage fright also and for people with too much thyroid in their system. good luck. Just talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have more questions but this is still a very common medication in this class of medications. Have a good day
Ultimately, you're responsible for monitoring your own side effects and reporting them to your prescriber. Everyone reacts differently, some people have SE's (side effects), some don't. I had bad side effects, others don't.
Read the leaflet in your pill box thoroughly and follow the directions regarding side effects, there will be clear information that states what to do in the event of having a SE and what is considered serious and what isn't. If you can't find the leaflet a quick google search will help you find a PDF version to read.
