Still suffering from side effects of Prolia shot given to me for osteopenia . Just a warning again, this is a terrible drug for Osteoperosis or Ostepinia . It was originally used and is still used for bone cancer patients!! The drug company Amgen should have to account for promoting Prolia for anything other than bone cancer. Is it all about money, yes I do believe. Just an update. Again, beware of Prolia!!!
Joey V.; Sorry your having so much problems with the side effects, But as with any medication what works for one can be a nightmare for someone else. I looked it up and there very first indications for use is what you have down. It would be nice if someday they have a good way of being able to check us to see if we are going to have problems with a medication. You take care. Chuck1957
How long were you on Prolia? I have received 4 injections over the last 2 years. I am having significant pain in one leg and hip and just recently thought there might be a connection to the Prolia injections. I'm assuming you are off the medicine now. If so, how long have you been off and have the side effects diminished? thanks
