Braces went on in April, 2013 and I've had the Prolia injections in November, 2012 and May, 2013. I was told by my obgyn the Prolia shouldn't inhibit my teeth from moving and my orthodontist wasn't familiar enough with Prolia to answer the question. Would like another opinion. Thanks.
I get Zometa which is similar to Prolia. I have had Invisalign braces for more than a year. Today was to be my last visit to get my retainer. My bottom teeth have not moved as well as expected, so must get new impressions next week for further adjustments. My oncologist said the Invisalign is OK, but do not get the metal braces. They are far too aggressive for those of us on these bone builders. I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer of Prolia to ask this question, as well as the American Dental Association. Hope this helps.
