I feel great on Pristiq, happy, smiling, feeling much better than the Wellbutrin XL I was on that made me angry with rage. The Wellbutrin helped me get motivated and I also lost 20lbs on it after almost 5 months. But I almost lost my job because of the anger. After one month of Pristiq, I have gained almost 10 lbs back. This is NOT good. I am sleeping OK with Pristiq because I take a couple of Calcium-Magnesium pills before I go to bed.
I was wondering if anyone takes Phentermine with Pristiq to get the motivation to get up in the morning and the weightloss. I know I would have to deal with sleep issues at night with the Phentermine/Adipex, but hopefully the cal-mag will still work.
I have not took either of theses drugs. I have had motivation problems most my life. I never liked getting up in the morn. I worked off shifts most of my 35 plus years. For anxiety, I have been on Clonazepam. It works well with anger dew to pressures. Kind of like the fight or flight thing they talk about. Feeling cornered, I get mad. I don't know if this helps anybut, best of luck Bucky1

Hi, I am taking both of these medications, however i just started both about 4 weeks ago. I've lost about 6lbs, which isn't too bad. It does control my appetitie, and i'm feeling better. I haven't had too much trouble with sleeping as long as I take the Phenetermine early in the day. I was taking 150 to 200 ml of Zoloft which I was on for the last 5 years; I just thought is was time to change - was starting to feel tired and a bit angry too much. So my doctor suggested Pristiq. So far so good. My issue now is the cost of Pristiq.
