I take 14 Rx's and have 4 Major interactions and 17 Moderate interactions and 2 Minor interactions plus some with food. Should I give this list to my Doctor for him to go over?
You can if it is of a concern to you. Are you having any problems with taking your meds? Some meds, though, are necessary to take in spite of possible interaction depending on the interaction. Some interactions are non-consequential as well. I would probably advise you to discuss the 4 major interactions first. It is hard to say, really, since I dont know the meds or the interactions.
ABSOLUTELY!!! Also, I would talk to your doctor about getting off some of the medications! There are many supplements and food choices that can do just as good if not a BETTER job, than prescriptive medications, without ANY side effects. I just went off of four medications. I feel better, lost a ton of weight, and am planning to go off even more until I have gotten off as many as I can. things that I didn't even realize were side effects went away, and the more medications that you take, the more the side effects increase exponentially. These side effects are not listed because they never test side effects against other medications, only alone in the body. Just a few examples, magnesium for blood pressure, red yeast rice and plant sterols for cholesterol, melatonin, passion flower, hops and others for sleep, turmeric, Zyflammed, fish oil, and and entire list more for inflammation!
