I was subseqently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes but was not informed the maker of Zyprexa was convicted in Federal Court of withholding the possibility of contracting Type 2 Diabetes from the prescribers. By the time I learned of a class action lawsuit, it had been ajudicated leaving me out in the cold with a lifealtering disease with no recourse or compensation! The patients who were on Zyprexa were supposed to have been notified of the class action lawsuit. I was neither sought out nor informed. Now that there's no money for the lawyers, they've no interest in helping people like me. It's just unfair. Is there anyone out there who knows of a solution?
Was headed on the same path, once you have titrated off, the Diabetes #should should go down. Had the same effect with Risperdal. It is a scary endeavor to be saddled with medicines that have the potential to harm. There is no compensation unless you find the right medicine which seems to be impossible, since they all seem to have a two edged sword.
