I live in pa and have been taking Ritalin for 4 months. The past 3 months have been very hard to get my script filled. This last time its been 2 weeks and 5 pharmacies with no pills. How can I maintain the reason it was prescribed when no one is able to fill it.
Bomar46 i JUST checked the DEA shortages and here is what it say that all brand name and generic or ritialin are having a shortage starting last sept 14 and it has not been resolved yet... I remember this used to happen at the end of the year alot because the manufactures did not want alot to invatory all you can do is call around to other pharmacy or just call the doctor and see if there is something else you can try until ritalin is out without shortages..anyway you can tell him or her this is what the DEA has posted on there website.Methylphenidate Hydrochloride ER Capsules/Tablets
Status: Currently in Shortage
