Would it be safe to take two instead of one? Directions say take one every six hours. A steroid pack was also prescribed.
I would talk to your doctor about using a muscle relaxer with the hydrocodone. you would want to talk to your doctor before taking two tablets instead of one every 6 hours. I've seen it dosed for 1 to 2 tablets every 6 to 8 hours, but I would only recommend doing what the doctor prescribes. If your not having relief you could try gabapentin it is a medication used for nerve pain. One other way to go is trying a prescription compound pain cream that is modified for nerve pain. There are several medications that are combined that treat pain associated with a pinched nerve. they work together to relax and settle nerve ending.
