There is no history of depression. It is not prescribed for anxiety or to quit smoking. This question was removed before so I reworded it. I was not informed why it was removed so I hope this is presented better.
I am prescribed Bupropion. How long can you take a break in between? Week? Two weeks? Month?

I originally posted the reason for taking it but this time I worded it for reasons not taking it.
If you stop it for a week or longer when you do start taking again you have to rebuild this med in your system which takes a week and then even longer to reach therapeutic levels for such things as anxiety and depression. Assuming you are taking for some other reason, I suspect the same will hold true.
Bud; I am thinking your taking it for the side effects of SSRI'S which you still have to take it daily it does not mean you can take it when you need it to off- set the ssri's. But this can also help with the SSRI ALSO and the two main drugs I see used for this purpose is Buspar, and Bupropion as the main medications if they don't do it there are others ask your doctor.Chuck1957
Just for the record no reason your other post was deleted if this was what it was about and also there does not have to be a history of depression in a family to end up with it we all have different triggers that can cause different problems now if I was wrong about the reason you were getting an answer let us know But you still have to have a blood level to help off-set the SSRI'S best of luck Chuck1957
