... it affects and increase 2 1 daily-keep you posted. Thank you for listening
You have 100 mg instant release pills? It's not a large dose and I think generally you could just start with one per day. Bupropion pills aren't very splittable anyway, especially the timed release ones. Splitting those can affect the way they work.
Those are some thoughts but the right answer is whatever your doctor says. Find out what dose he has in mind for you and how you should start out. With higher doses there is generally a titration procedure so you start off slowly and build up as you get used to the medication.
By the way, the most common dose seems to be 300 mg per day. The max is 600 mg but I haven't heard about anyone taking that. So you see the 100 mg is not too big a deal. You could potentially take 2 or 3 per day depending on what your doctor wants.
The main thing... is this med just Wellbutrin or does it have XL or SR with the name? Those are very different types of meds so you'll need to tell us that, or it just regular Wellbutrin 100 mg. How are you feeling so far? Are you up to one whole tablet daily? This is a medication widely prescribed for many years. Most people do well on it without harsh side effects. I myself took it successfully for 10 years. Let us know how you're doing.
