There are techniques that you can try called vagal maneuvers. They can disrupt the arrhythmia. Some of these include: bearing down to engorge the heart in blood in an attempt to "reset" the rhythm, divers reflex (submerging face in cold water), tapping (look it up), as well as others. To prevent these arrythmias you can also try using magnesium. A good quality magnesium can help maintain a healthy rhythm. I suffered for years and mag works wonders.
