The med that my doc gave me doesn't work great all the time.
Ginger works pretty well. You can buy fresh ginger root and slice it thin and boil in water to make ginger tea. Add sugar or honey to taste as you like. This may help better than ginger ale because it has more ginger. Peppermint and peppermint tea can help too. I found that the best way for me to avoid nausea while I was pregnant was to never allow myself to get too hungry. I tried to nibble on a small snack at least hourly. Nothing big, just a few crackers, or a handful of nuts or a yogurt, a piece of fruit etc. If I went longer than two hours without eating something, I lost the ability to eat without throwing up! This too shall pass! So hang in there. It will get better.
You need to make sure to take in fluids. Try sipping on some Green Tea with Mint in it to sooth the stomach. You can get what is called "Ginger Root extract" and it has been used for thousands of years in the far east. Just a few capsules all natural any health food store. The best thing you can eat right now is Banana. They are easy on the stomach and chock full of the nutrients you need. Ginger Root and Bananas have saved me from my Irritable Bowel Syndrome MANY times. Avoid anything dairy , greasy, leafy, or sweet... I could sometimes cheat myself with the old Vanilla Wafer and Banana Pudding to get the nutrients in your body. Bottom line is getting the right things in there. Shortages of nutrients like Potassium can make a person feel horrible... I hope this helps
