So me and my boyfriend are sexually active. Last night I started bleeding thinking it's my period, but then it just stops this morning. I've also been on birth control for the past 4 months, he uses a condom every time and he pulls out before ejaculation. What are the chances of pregnancy in this case?
As long as you're taking your pills at the same time every day you are protected 99.7 %. Forget about the pulling out, its not a birth control method.
Condoms and pulling out are unnecessary if you are consistent in taking your pill. Condom use with the Pill is for STD protection unless you miss a pill or need back up for another reason like antibiotic use. The Pill STOPS ovulation. If you dont have an egg cell released, no amount of sperm will get you pregnant. Irregular bleeding while on the Pill happens, especially in the first few months of taking it but it can still occur later. It also makes your periods much lighter and for some women, all they get is a day or two of spotting. It also reduces the build up of uterine lining that is shed each month as our "period" so this is why it causes periods to become lighter in time and consistent use.
