I had sex with my bf two days before my implant got changed and haven't had a period yet. When i had my last implant in i had a period every 2-3 weeks and this happened for about a year. Any ideas?
OK, the thing with implants (I am assuming you mean Implanon or Nexplanon) they excrete more hormone when they are first put in then that excretion slowly dwindles down over the three years it is in, so your cycles can change a bit the second and third year in response to the decreasing amounts of hormones. Once you get a fresh new one implanted to replace the old one, you get the full amount of hormone again. Like KM says, if you had it replaced on time, there is nothing to worry over.
