Hello Joi. Were you on your first round of this birth control or have you been taking it for quite awhile? I ask because it would make a difference. Your age is also important as the answer is different if you are 17 or 45.
The simple answer is maybe. Be sure to discuss with your doctor before you have another shot. Take a pregnancy test.
No birth control method is 100% perfect. People do get pregnant even on birth control. Once one decides to have a sexual partner it is important to know how an unplanned pregnancy will be handled. Sex is more than an activity in the dark. It brings forth new lives. Even women with tied tubes may become pregnant. Mysterious, maybe. All women understand the risks. Write if you have more questions. Karen
It is possible. No birth control is 100% effective except for abstinence. It could very well be your body's response to changes in hormone levels. You can try taking a pregnancy test. Mention your suspicions to your healthcae provider who is giving you your injections before you get the next one.
