I am on my fourth month of MonoNessa birth control. I started my current pack 2 days late, on the 11th. I stupidly had unprotected sex at midnight on the night of the 14th. He was not wearing protection, but he pulled out before anything messy happened. (I know this is not a for sure method of prevention.) I was curious of the chances of me being pregnant and what approaches should be taken before my mom kills me for being an idiot.
Well, there is a slim chance. I cant say a certain percentage. When you started two days late did you make up the two tabs by taking two tabs the first and second days of the pack to make up for the missed pills or did you just start two days late and took one pill a day? It would be a little better if you had made up the two pills but either way, there is still a small chance you ovulated. Chances are greater that you didnt get pregnant though. At this point there is really nothing to be done other than to watch and wait to see if you are late. If you are more than a week late for your next period, you can test for pregnancy then. Just keep taking your pills in the meantime. If you would happen to be pregnant, this exposure wont hurt the baby and chances are good that you are not so you want to stay protected. You need to use back up until you have had seven consecutive days of active pills.
