So I had a pregnancy test before I got the implant birth control in my arm it came up with negative I got the implant the next day and the doctor said not to have unprotected sex for 7 days. Anyway I've been have unprotected sex for the days I wasn't supposed to and my boyfriend cummed in everyday, according to my period tracker I was fertile for those day so is there a possibility I could be pregnant?
There is a reason they tell you not to have sex or to use back up protection when you first begin a birth control regimen. The stuff is not magic, it takes time to work. If you didnt follow the recommendation to not have unprotected sex, then yes, there is a possibility for pregnancy!
You're body needs that first week to adjust to the pill and build up the barriers that protect you against pregnancy (ie: preventing ovulation, thickening your cervix etc). So if you didn't wait the 7 days, it's a possibility that you could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test about 2 weeks after you first has unprotected sex (takes about 10-14days for a fertilized egg to implant and cause rises in the HCG hormone which is what is tested for when one wants to know if they are pregnant). Since this question was posted on the 8th of June, you should definitely be able to take a home pregnancy test and find out by now. Or better yet, go see your doctor, tell them everything and have them do a test.
Best of luck to you. I hope everything works out how you want it to.
