I had my tubes tied last March, but then started having periods every 2 weeks. So, doc put me on Lo Loesterin FE to regulate. For the last 9 months, my periods have started on day 4 of the placebo pills. But suddenly, this month, no period. I took 4 pregnancy tests over 4 days and all were negative. My husband and I also use a spermicide (can you tell we don't want kids?) But I'm still worried about not having a period. It's my only assurance of not being pregnant. Should I be worried?
Dear Lord, you have your tubes tied. How did you think you could still get pregnant? When you're on the pills it decreases the amount of uterine lining, so that you can have lighter periods and once and a while skip a period altogether. When you're on the pill you don't necessarily start exactly the same time every month. I can't imagine how you could think you might be pregnant, you're practicing 3 methods of birth control and 2 of them are not necessary for birth control.
