Over the past few months, I have been feeling something kicking, or pulsating, on the left abdomen and above my belly button. Could it be a baby? Gas problems? I have been going through bowel movement at least two times a day for the last three weeks, so I'm not sure what that's about either. The last time I had sex was in February. My period has been on time so far, and I just finished this month. Also, I have been getting a really thick discharge right after the past few periods to where it hangs down my vagina, and I was wondering if it's possible that it can be a mucus plug? I would feel nauseous throughout the day as well. I'm just really paranoid, as I have never went through all these signs before.
You can't be feeling a baby because it wouldn't be able to kick you in even the slightest way on your left abdomen above your belly button at 3 months. It would have all of it's major organs and be able to move, but not there and not that you could feel. Your bowel is definitely acting differently than usual and that's where it travels along with other places. Your bowels are moving much more than usual and they move by peristalsis, or muscle contraction, that could be mistaken for gas. Or you really could have more gas.
The really thick discharge is a puzzle. Bowels moving can cause nausea. Why not give your Dr. a call and have it checked out? You can try telling your symptoms by phone, but I suspect s/he will want to see you. Your periods are on time, but your side effects are changing. This could be a natural change, change in diet or due to an infection. There could be other answers your Dr. can think of.
