Pregnancy - if you get the depo shot does it get counteracted by medicaton for a bladder infection??

if you got the depo provera shot and a month later got a bladder infection would the medication you get for a bladder infection counteract your depo provera shot?
The literature says that there has been some evidence that antibiotics interfere with it, but no research evidence. I would use another method of birth control while you have antibiotics in your system.
To be safest, use condoms as back up the whole time you are taking antibiotics and for seven days after you finish your last pill.
I agree with the posts so far... be on the safe side and use another reliable form of birth control at least until you are done taking your antibiotic and for about 2 weeks after you finish! better safe than sorry! :) Good Luck hon! :)
