... question is when is the best? To stop taking them. I am in week 3 now. Took a pill Monday. Had unprotected sex but missed a pill yesterday but I ended up taking 2 today its my husband bday sat n he wants a baby n I was wondering if I just stop taking the pill now will it be a possability I could get pregnant n is it a possability that I mite be now
The best time to stop taking the Pill is at the end of a pack so if you are on week 3 just stop taking them when you hit the inert or sugar pill week (week 4) Dont start a new pack. One thing though, they usually recommend that you wait 6 months before trying to conceive to get all of the Pill's hormones out of your body and therefore are surely ovulating since the hormones in the Pill supress ovulation. You might be able to get pregnant before 6 months, of course, but it is recommended to wait the 6 months as the healthiest way to do so for both you and new baby. Missing one pill and making it up the next day, it is unlikely that you are pregnant now but anything is possible-some women are very fertile. Best of luck to you!
