I have switched birth contro. I was on the depo shot for 3 years and now I am on the nuvaring for one month. My last period was the month of June. I have taken the nuvaring out and should be on period but it has not started it is 5 days late. Could I be pregnant?
If you've used it the right way, you should be protected. Sometimes when we are on hormone meds, we don't even have a period every month. Put the new ring back in when it is time to do so. If you don't have it 2 months in a row, then you I would do a pregnancy test. If birth control is used correctly there is very little chance of getting pregnant.
Hi, if you really want to be sure you can take a pregnancy test, no birth control is100% effective, so it is a possibility you are pregnant, not saying you are, but it can't be ruled out, I got pregnant on birth control, i was a pharmacist so you can take a test now and it will be accurate! Hope this helps
