... stil cant afford medical bills..recently a doctor has prescribe medroxyprogesterone for my periods... will it help me get pregnant? Am realy stressed... help please
Although it is not prescribed directly for infertility it does give those of us who do not have a regular menses to start one, which will allows some of us to ovulate. Depending on your body and what is going on with you medically that may just be the boost you need but you may need more. In my case I cant ovulate with just a menses so, I have just been prescribed Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to jump start my menses, metformin along with Clomid which allows me to ovulate to become pregnant. Fingers crossed it works as this will be round 1 for me! Just some advice... keep looking for an affordable fertility specialist it took me almost an entire year to find one my insurance covers and believe me when I say, I have bad insurance. The only thing my insurance did not cover was the clomid so I paid out of pocket. I got my tabs for $10. I was amazed it was so cheap. I thought I would be spending hundreds out of pocket. Also, if you do get meds you cant afford look online for coupons and call around to the pharmacies for the best prices... I have found many coupons for 75% off meds and so on! Keep positive and good luck on your journey!
