I had protected sex. 2 weeks later I got my expected period. just as heavy as usual & same symptoms. but I hear you can get your period while pregnant.. should I worry??
I'm pleased that you have done some reading about this, as it would be considered advanced reading. There are a number of things that can happen during pregnancy but as they are also quite uncommon it isn't worth making a point of it as it is statistically unlikely.
Firstly: being very uncommon makes it very unlikely although there is documented evidence of women continuing to have periods, throughout pregnancy although they tend to be lighter, can also be quite normal.
The message here is that being so unlikely that THERE IS NO POINT WORRYING about it.
The plan B people have more to worry about as numerous studies show that some women regularly ovulate twice in one cycle and rarely three times.
That you actually used, presumably, some type of barrier protection and then got your period at the expected time would indicate to me that worrying about this is like worrying that the Sun might go out.
Sorry that that is so much to digest but I'm unused to replying to better than averagely informed people.
Take care, Steve.
