The problem is she took two ipills when she shouldnt have needed any. You guys are very selfish. You expect your ladies to take a pill that is a huge dose of hormones and is going to mess her cycle up for at least a month. She is having side effects. It isn't for routine birth control, its for emergenices.
An emergency is not you just didn't feel like using a condom. It is not as effective as regular birth control pills, which have a failure rate of less then 1%. The ipill and pills like it have a 5-15% failure rate. They aren't magic. They don't cause miscarriages. All they do is delay ovulation and not for long.
So get condoms or talk to her about routine birth control pills.
My research shows about a 5-20% chance of failure so that means she has a 5-20% chance of getting pregnant anyway. The ipill is not as effective as regular birth control. No birth control is 100% effective except to not have sex. There is nothing more that you can do about the unprotected sex you have already had but wait and see. If you have sex again, you need to be using condoms and spermicide or she should see a doctor to get a prescription for some form of hormonal birth control. If you love her that means doing what is best for her and that means no unprotected sex. If you think she is in pain now, wait and see what happens if she gets pregnant and goes into labor to have a baby!
