... safe then the baby passed away at nine weeks of gestation. Could it have been the meds?
It is possible but it is hard to say for sure, but it is NOT safe. Hydrochlorothiazide-lisinopril has been assigned to pregnancy category D by the FDA and the only category worse is a Category X. It is known NOT to be safe for pregnant women. You may have a legal case against the doc if she would want to pursue it. So sorry about her loss! It is a terrible thing to lose a baby when it was wanted so much.
