Benzodiazepines such as xanax are not recommended during pregnancy unless the risks of not taking outweigh the risks to the baby. You may need to investigate other ways of controlling the panic attacks and anxiety while you are pregnant. There are numerous other meds such as many of the antidepressants that also treat anxiety that are safer than the benzodiazepines. Your doctor would be the best to advise you on this.
