Any medication that your doctor prescribes for you when he knows that you are pregnant is okay for you to take. As long as they know that your pregnant they will double check before prescribing it to you. You also can ask your pharmist before he fills a prescribtion if it is an okay medication to take while pregnant. The #1 medication to take is your prenatal vitamin. Don't forget to take that it is very important. Good Luck!
Congrats on the pregnancy. The non-prescription drugs are many including: no alcohol of any amount, no cigarette, no street drugs or marijuana, take folic acid to avoid spinal bifida, stay away from diet sodas or diet anything. Eat very well and stay on top of prenatal care for a healthy and beautiful child. If you are in your teens, see a doctor immediately to be sure both of you will be safe.
You can find a lot of information on line, but friends and family often have odd ideas. Your doc will give it to you straight. Good health to you!
