I didn't take my birth control pill for 2 days ,due to a mix up at my pharmacy. Once I got that fixed and had my original birth control they said to not have unprotected sex until after the first two weeks. Well me and my boyfriend did, what's the possibility of being pregnant?
This is something that drives me up a wall. You kids always think that adults don't know what they're talking about until its too late. How far into the pills did you have sex? The manufacturer says a week until its safe. I suspect the pharmacist was doubling that knowing how well you kids listen to people.
When one misses 2 or more pills, she should have her partner use a condom for at least 7 days so the contraceptive can become effective again. You cannot rely on the pill for protection when you have missed 2 pills because chances are high that you may have ovulated. Your chances are about the same as someone not on birth control. There is a reason they tell you to use back up protection and this reason is that you cannot rely on the pill only to protect you. If you choose not to heed that advice then there is a chance for pregnancy.
