Me and my boyfriend had sex last weekend. We used a condom and he took it off and he did cum but he pulled out. I missed 1 day of my birth control but I took it the next day. The pill I missed was a couple days before we had sex. I was supposed to have my period yesterday (Sunday) but I didn't get it. I didn't even get it today. I feel like I have very small cramps but I'm unsure. Could I be pregnant?
It is important for you to know that "pulling out" is no guarantee that you won't get pregnant. Aside from the fact that some semen may get inside you, your boyfriend's penis contains what is called "Pre cum". It acts as a lubricant for his penis before ejaculation, so that when he does cum, it won't be painful. Pre cum contains a small amount of semen that can get you Pregnant. "Pulling Out" is not considered a form of Birth control, and can certainly impregnate you.
Now, as far as your period, have you ever been late before? If your period is something that you can usually "set your watch to", than If I were you, I would be concerned about being pregnant. The fact that you wrote that you are nervous that your period is two days late, it would be my guess that your period is never late. If I were you, I would certainly consider the fact that you may be pregnant, especially since you missed a day of taking your Birth Control pills.
Give it one or two days (Wednesday), and then go to the drug store, and get one of those Pregnancy Tests. Worrying about it will not help, since stress can delay your period.
Get the test. The sooner you know, the better off you will be so that you can make a decision about whether or not you are going to keep the baby, go though with the pregnancy and give it up for adoption, or have an abortion.
I hope you are close to your boyfriend. You didn't mention him in your post. But if you are not close enough, you have some decisions to make. Hopefully you have a BFF, or you are close enough with someone to discuss this with. Making the choices you might have to make, are easier when you have someone you can talk with.
Good luck, and let us know how it turns out. DrDavidB
