I can't seem to get pregnant. I have heavy periods my wholee life. Anybody?
I had a lot of trouble getting pregnant too, we had success by using ovulation test kits for three months in a row until I found my ovulation date (I ovulate on day 17 which is pretty late, but it was consistent). Then we started having sex every day from day 12, and the month I got pregnant we didn't even have sex on days 17 & 18 and I still got pregnant! The sperm can live inside the woman for a few days so I guess the sperm was there when my egg dropped. I was very surprised but it worked!
I don't know if it made a difference, but I also made sure we had lots of foreplay so I had lots of natural lubrication for the sperm to swim in, I laid on my back with a pillow under my bum for 10 minutes after sex to give the little guys more of a chance, and also I didn't take any baths or swim from days 12 -20 - only showers. Not sure if these made a difference but in the end it worked for me. GOOD LUCK!!!
Hi my name is Kelly.. After my first miscarriage I was so ready to start trying again for another baby.. I started researching the best ovulation tests and trying them but nothing was working for me.. Also me and my partner decided to try for the 2 weeks before my period and the 2 weeks after and yet again it didn't work so I kinda gave up on it.. But now 2 years later I am 30 weeks pregnant and we conceived him while I was on my period (sorry it that more than anyone wanted to know) but it worked for us and we did this with the first that we lost. I'm not sure if that helps any but it's all about timing.. My advice is to start two week before your period and keep going till the 2 weeks after to make yourself feel accomplished and yes try holding your legs in the air after everytime to help the little swimmers stay in lol! And my whole life I have had bad iron because Of heavy blood loss during my cycle..
I seen my gyeno every month and found out I had a bacterial infection from taking baths and it wasn't helping me get pregnant.. I would take to my Dr and see what advice he could help you with! Good luck and I pray for the best for you and your family!
