I had severe lesion on fingers... especially on my thumbs... also spead to palms... A strong 14 day treatment worked wonders. After stopping, thr eczema returned..fine lesions. in tips and sides... but now wrinkly. Another reduced treatment. Now I'm wondering... Are changes in skin permanent ... ron nelson
Good question. Did you see a dermatologist? Sounds to me you have scarred skin.
Prednisone does thin the skin. However it is over years of use or very high doses. Still, your skin may be sensitive and should be carefully checked by the dermatologist. Keep hands hydrated and wounds covered with antibiotics and bandaids if open sores. Have this looked at soon.
