Hello red dude, your question was cut off. Go ahead add a comment to your question to complete it.
I am on prednisone and on oxygen. Not COPD but have been through respiratory rehab courses and have a lot of info on your condition. I have interstitial lung disease (ILD).
If asking about swelling it is heart related. If asking about prednisone need your question. Been on it for over seven years.
If asking about oxygen use, have info on that too. Will be waiting for your full question.
My dad had COPD and he found that the prednisone helped alot. Every time he tapered off of it, he'd get worse again, and have to restart it. He took prednisone 5 mg for several years, before he died. He died from a reaction to theophylline, so every drug has bad stories out there.
