They could be. I would think the prednisolone would be short term tho.

Yes, Prednisolone and Azathioprine are often used together to control autoimmune disorders. Usually the Prednisolone is given in a higher dose at first then lowered to a maintenance dose after the disorder has been controlled. It sounds like you're being given the right treatment.
