what is it used for in drug
Yes, you are so right maso,
Can't fool you and I thought I knew drugs (at least I got A+ in grad school on pharmacology). Predisone, prednisolone... maybe an OH tacked on somewhere is the only difference, but the steroids are produced by the adrenal glands that sit on top of our kidneys. The Adrenal glands produce a lot of things... one of the most well known in the "fight or flight" phase of the stress reaction is the rapid production of adrenaline. Oh, where would we be without our adrenal glands?
