Can potassium citrate cause tightness and pain in upper leg muscles?

Typically, potassium is only to blame when it is a potassium deficiency. Low levels of potassium can cause spasms, cramps, and stiffness. I've never heard of a high potassium level causing pain or tightness. Hope this helps!
