After not having a period for over two months & have three pregnancy test come out negative--I had blood drawn. My Dr informed me yesterday that based on the results I'm post menopausal. She couldn't have stunned me more if she had actually told me I pregnant. I knew I had been going through perimenipause but actually finished menopause. I was not expecting that at 40. I know I should be happy--no periods, no camps, etc but I'm stunned, a little depressed and find myself crying. Is this normal?
Yes, Kristy this is normal. About ten years ago I had a Hystro. I still ask did I do the right thing. I hate going to the Gyno. for my yearly, because what is the use. But I look at it that this is better than Cancer.
Cry all you want you have the right. It is your body and changes are always hard. Deal with it any way you want.
I wish you the best
