My MRI showed 2 white spots on my brain what could this be
The white spots on your brain could be from having migraines. When I started having migraines a long time ago they did an MRI on me & at that time they said that some times depending on how severe the migraine is that the blood vessel can actually be cut off & die creating the spot on your brain.
I actually now 30 yrs later have Vascular dementia & I have several TIA's (transeint ischemic attacks) basically they are like a mini stroke that sometimes last maybe a couple of minutes & you may notice it or not. I have had some that have been minor & then I have had some mini strokes that have affected various parts of my brain that now cause me alot of problems. One being that I have had Six hit ask in the "memory" area of the brain.
So I would suggest that you talk to your Neurologist & see what they think may have caused it.
Best of luck, kathy
White spots can be caused by MS, Migraine, PFO (hole in the heart), etc. My neurologist says the only sure way to diagnose MS is with a spinal tap. In addition to MS, I also had a PFO. The repair of the hole is a simple out-patient procedure where they plug the hole with mesh. I would suggest talking to your neurologist as a starting point.
